Tissot has a name for long time before i was born, but this particular model looks and feel cheaper than the actual photo, for this price i would reconsider and buy other brand name...


I bought this watch as a wedding present for my husband. He wears a chronograph watch that he likes a lot for regular use and I knew I was not looking to replace that. Instead, I wanted an elegant and understated dress watch from one of the top-name European makers. Plus, I wanted a two-tone watch that would go with two-tone wedding band. I admit I was skeptical about my choice not having seen it first hand before ordering but for a little less than $150 - I decided to risk it. I did not buy from this seller(kenmare), btw. It arrived within days packaged in a beautiful, sturdy box. Once my husband put it on his wrist - it was exactly what I had been looking for - and he loved the Roman numerals on the dial. We are very happy with the purchase. Also, I decided to buy the Tissot after having read many assuring reviews here on how well they stand the test of time, not to mention the quality - e.g., the sapphire crystal is apparently standard on Tissot watches. For the price, I could not have asked for better.


This is a relatively inexpensive watch that has many features that I expected to see on only a much costlier watch. It has a Swiss ETA movement, a sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 50 meters. So far it has been very accurate and it looks very nice to boot. If the band had a double locking clasp it would be just about perfect for me.
