After searching for more than a year for a matching set that looks nice and wouldn't cost as much as a car, I selected this Tissot. I wrote a separate short review for the womens watch on behalf of my wife (she LOVES it).

This watch is very elegant. Feels hefty, the band is solid, setting it is easy. I love the understated glow-in-the-dark face markings. My only complaint, which keeps me from giving 5 stars, is that the band squeaks. It started out annoyingly loud, but after reading some info on the net I learned that it should be given a little time and will likely go away. I've had it for just a month now and the squeaking has all but disappeared, and I only wear the watch with suits (about twice a week) because it's such a nice looking watch. Doesn't look quite right with jeans or khakis.

One thing that really bugs me is when the second hand doesn't align with the minute index markers, but this watch does.

What else to say? Overall, this watch is a great value; I'm very pleased with it.


I have this watch for about 3 years. It suddenly stopped two weeks ago. I considered it is battery, but yesterday Tissot called me and explained that they need to change some parts of the watch. It will cost 70 usd. I am disappointed. A Swiss watch to last only 3 year. I am in search for new one, but probably Japanese.

This watch was a diamond in the rough. I found this by chance after looking for hours in jewelry stores for a watch. This is as light as titanium with the elegance of a Movado. The sapphire crystal ensures no scratches will ruin the face. The clasp is very strong when you compare it to others in its price range and the understated glow in the dark accects blend in perfectly when not in darkness. For the money, you cannot find better quality and design than this.
